Youth Summer Reading Program, “Build A Better World”.

July 7, 2017:  1pm Jack McCarthy, “The Lego Maniac“.  Ages 5+, registration required on NTL website.

July 28, 2017:  Friday, 11am, The David Polansky Family Concert.

August 10, 2017: Thursday, 11am, “Nature Nick”, live baby monkeys, kangaroos, otters and more!  Ages 5+, registration required on NTL website.

What are the prizes and raffles?

You mean aside from all the great stories you’ll read? Well, we happen to have a bonanza of  raffle prizes and giveaways this year! Including Passes to the Aquarium, Boston Improv, Water Country, Canobie Lake Park, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Topsfield Fair, Sea Shuttle Tour, Cinemagic, Chunky’s and more for ALL who complete our summer reading program.  The Summer Reading Challenge is to read 20 minutes a day (or 2 hours 20 minutes each week).  from June 22nd – August 12th.

This summer we are once again offering Adult Summer Reading Bingo!  Really, why should the kids have all the fun? Pick up your Bingo card, or print the one below, this summer to join in the fun. The grand prize this year is a Kindle Paperwhite e-reader donated by the Friends of the Library and will be awarded on September 1st.

Museum Passes are available to everyone!  (Not only Friends Members).  Reserve online at:  newburylibrary.org,  at the library, or by phone.  Passes include:  The Museum of Fine Arts, The Peabody/Essex Museum, The MA State Parks, The Boston Children’s Museum, The Museum of Science and the USS Constitution Museum.
