We had a huge turnout for the Loaf & Ladle competitions, the raffles, kids activities, etc. 1st & 2nd prizes were awarded for “Loaf” entries, as well as for “Ladle” entries. We had many volunteers helping us and the raffle tickets were being sold fast & furious. Why wouldn’t they? Some of them were donations from Interlocks, Red Bird/Wishbasket, Henry Bear’s Park (Eureka Toys), The Firehouse, The North Shore Music Theater, $50. Gift Cards from restaurants such as: Michael’s Harborside, The Grog, The Mission Oak Grille and others including $25 cards from American BBQ, The Paddle Inn. The most important thing to note is the event raised over $1,600.00 to support library programs and more, for adults and children alike. THANK YOU!!!
Come to the next Plant Sale in the spring and I’m sure that along with healthy perennials and annuals there will be another great raffle event as well. Date TBD in May 2019.
